After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our city tour by visiting Holy Trinity Cathedral which was built in 2004 and is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world. Soon, we will continue to Old Tbilisi and start with Metekhi, which overlooks Meidan Square. After that, we will walk on the Bridge of Peace that links the old part of the city to the Rike Park. After that, we will visit The Clock Tower, where you can see an angel comes out every hour to ring the bell with a small hammer. Shortly, we will walk towards Shardeni Street, which is so well known that any guest that travels to Georgia never leaves this country without visiting it. Later, we will take a cable car to Narikala Fortress and continue walking to the statue of Mother of Georgia. Soon then, we will visit Abanotubani with sulfur baths. Shortly, we will head to Georgian National Museum. After that you will take a Funicular Train to visit Mtatsminda Park. It is the best place for fun and relaxation in the city. After breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and at 10 AM we will start our tour by driving to Gremi Monastery, built in the 16th century, it overlooks Alazani Valley. The frescoes of Gremi Church are in direct relation with the “post-Byzantine” Greek painting tradition. Shortly then, you will head to the Winery Khareba. Apart of the wine tasting, you will have a chnce to have a masterklasses of Georgian national bread – Shoti and Georgian delight Churchkhela. You will have a Churchkhela and Khinaki masterclass with a lunch. At 16:00 PM we will drive to Telavi, very vibrant heart and the ancient capital of Kingdom Kakheti. You will have a chance to have a photo stop at Batonis Tsikhe or “the Castle of Lord” with a statue of King Erekle II. After breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and at 10 AM we will start our tour by driving to Tsinandali Estate, the former estate of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, who flourished his estate in the beginning of 19th century. The landscape garden in Tsinandali is the first European-type recreation zone in Georgia. Also, the first recorded bottling of wine took place there in the 1800s. Later, you will continue to Sighnaghi which is called the City of Love. Home to Georgia’s famous painter Pirosmani, the city is full of 18th and 19th-century architecture and with a Tuscan feel. Here you will have a chance to climb the old Sighnaghi Wall which is five kilometers long and has 23 towers. After that, you will visit Bodbe Monastery, which is immersed in green, the territory is decorated with colorful flower beds and in the east, there is an observation deck with a beautiful view of the Alazani Valley. After breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and at 10 AM we will start our tour by visiting Jvari, a 6th century monument standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. We will then head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a burial site of Christ’s robe, was originally built in the 11th century and along with Jvari is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shortly, we will continue our tour to Ananuri Complex, a former residence of the Aragvi Dukes dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The fortress beautifully overlooks the Zhinvali Dam, one of the main reservoirs of Georgia. Shortly, we will head to Gudauri Panorama, built in the late 19th century, is a circular balcony hanging off a 600-meter cliff with breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. Shortly after, we will arrive in Stepantsminda town. At 13:30 PM you will have a lunch in the local restaurant. Later, you will drive up to Gergeti, which is located at an altitude of 2170m above sea level, under the bed of Mount Kazbegi. After that, we will have dinner at 19:00 PM. After breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and at 10 AM we will start our tour by driving to Gori, where we will visit Josef Stalin Museum. After that, we will head to Uplistsikhe Cave, a rock-hewn town, one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus. Its literal translation is “Lord’s Fortress” and continued to be inhabited until the 13th century AD. Nowadays, it is considered to be an open-air museum. Shortly then, we wil drive to western Georgia and visit Gelati Monastery Complex, which was founded in the beginning of the 12th century, is a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgian architecture, a period of political strength and economic growth. Gelati complex had an academy that was one of the most important centers of education and culture in the county. After enjoying your time there, we will have dinner at 19:00 PM. After breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and at 10 AM we will start Kutaisi city tour. We will visit the Central Square, where you will see the Colchis Fountain. After that, you will continue with the Opera House and Mon Plaisir Arch. Shortly then, you will walk on the White Bridge and head to Bagrati Cathedral, built in the beginning of the 11th century. The cathedral amazes each visitor with its scale and unique architecture. After that, we will drive to Prometheus Cave, one of the most stunning and interesting caves of Europe, rich with different stalagmites and stalactites. It is represented by the variety of underground rivers and beautiful landscapes. The trail inside the cave was paved and only visitors can only access 1.4 km of the cave along with 6 large halls.
